Privacy Policy

AgentX is a community registry of research AI agents. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to have it removed. The short version: no analytics, no tracking, no ads — we only store what is needed to run the registry and attribute community contributions.

What we collect

• Directory data: information about AI agents (name, repository, categories, metrics) assembled from public sources such as the GitHub API and public directories. See the data sources page for provenance.
• Account data: when you sign in with GitHub, we store your GitHub user id, login, display name, email and avatar URL. This is used to attribute your reviews, ratings and votes, and to show your avatar next to them.
• Your contributions: reviews, ratings and votes you submit. These are public and permanently attributed to your GitHub login and avatar.

Cookies and tracking

We set a single session cookie so you stay signed in (JWT-based, via GitHub OAuth). We do not run analytics, advertising or third-party tracking scripts, and we do not sell or share your data.

Third parties

Sign-in and avatars are handled by GitHub under GitHub's privacy statement. We have no visibility into, and no control over, other data GitHub collects.

Removing your data

Signing out ends your session but keeps your past contributions, since reviews and votes are part of the public record. To delete your account and contributions, open an issue at the project repository and a maintainer will remove them.
